Surgical Tape, also known as medical tape or adhesive tape, is used in a variety of different ways for different applications.  Many people are surprised to learn that tape comes in a variety of material types and sizes as well.  Please contact us if you have any questions or need additional item specific information.

Paper Tapes

• An extremely gentle, general purpose tape perfect for fragile skin. Ideal for securing tubing, ostomy pouches and facial dressings. Tears easily for convenient application. Highly porous for maximum breathability.

Cloth Tapes (also called Silk Tapes)

• Strong "silk-like" woven construction make this durable tape ideal for securing wound dressings, tubing, and drainage lines. Tears easily for convenient application. Moderate stretching ability to accommodate movement and swelling. Breathable.
  • Available in 1/2", 1", 2", and 3" widths
  • Latex Free Available

Transparent Tapes

• Ideal for securing I.V. tubing and catheters, primary wound dressings, tubing and drainage lines. Micro perforation allows for bidirectional tearing. Easy to tear and stretch. Highly porous for breathability. Water resistant.
  • Available in 1/2", 1", 2", and 3" widths

Foam Tapes

• Highly conformable elastic foam tape for compression applications, or securing dressings on challenging areas. Secure adhesion conforms to irregularly contoured sites. Gives with swelling. Can be used to provide compression. Water resistant and hypoallergenic.
  • Available in 1", 2", 3" and 4" widths

Elastikon Elastic Tapes

• Helps maintain constant controlled pressure on large draining wounds. Convenient custom fit around hard to cover areas. Ideal for securing dynamic pressure dressings.
• Also used as reliable compression for support of sprains, strains and muscle injuries
  • Available in 1", 2", 3" and 4" widths

Porous Tapes (Also Called Athletic Tapes)

• Adhesive tape with linear porosity for maximum breathability. Designed to provide high tensile strength and aggressive adhesion. Pinked edges allow easy tearing.
  • Standard 1.5" size is stocked in our retail store.

Foam Underwrap

• Designed to protect the skin from adhesive tape this foam wrap protects the skin from irritation. Underwrap can also meet many more needs. It still protects the skin but now it also holds back hair, affixes cold packs in place, becomes a patellar tendon strap or serves as the finish line of the hundred yard dash. Whatever you need, underwrap is there.

Cohesive Bandages

• Self-adherent wrap for consistent and controlled compression in protecting wounds, immobilizing injuries, retaining dressings or securing devices to patients without the need for clips or taping. Easily torn by hand. Non-slip support. Individually wrapped. Non-sterile.

Kinesio Tapes

• Kinesio Tape® is the original elastic adhesive tape developed by Dr. Kenzo Kase in 1979. It is latex-free, hypoallergenic and wearable for days at a time. It is safe for populations from elite athletes, weekend warriors to geriatric and pediatric patients.

Leukotape

Leukotape^® P is a high strength, rigid strapping tape, with a very strong, zinc oxide adhesive. It is porous and hand-tearable, yet offers extra strong support for sprains and strains. Ideal for patellofemoral taping. (Usually used in conjunction with a soft cloth tape underneath due to the aggressive adhesive of the Leukotape)

• Skin Prep Sprays & Pads - Helpful for some users that have issues with taping products not sticking to their skin by making the adhesive stick better
