Forearm Crutches & Euro Style Elbow Crutches are a nice alternative for those who may need a little extra stability and control over their movement.

Forearm crutches & Euro style elbow crutches can be a little more difficult to learn to use but they offer a wider variety of walking styles and gaits for the user.  They are also more stable on rough or uneven terrain.  A good fit for a more active user.  They are also a great alternative to the underarm crutches if posture is a concern.
